How to tackle transportation damage
Written claim (sent within 3 days) may be in free form, but should include the following information:
- Claus tracking number
- Copy of the waybill
- Proforma number and date
- Date of shipment arrival
- Description of the damaged / lost item
- Photo of damaged item and its packaging (with the item still in the shipping unit)
- Weight of damaged and lost part of consignment (actual weight of goods)
- Contact details
- Any repair cost estimate if needed
Damaged goods must be stored for possible inspection.
Claim for compensation is to be done within one year.
Written claim for compensation with reference to claim issued earlier may be in free form, but should include the following information:
- Copy of the waybill
- Proforma number and date
- Description of the damaged / lost item
- Photo of the damaged item and its packaging (with the item still in the shipping unit)
- Contact details with bank account number
- A copy of any repair invoice
